If you have been using thumbdrive to transfer things from one computer to another, Pls Check if you can access your task manager. If you cannot, you may have gotten the thumbdrive virus.
To clear it, Go to google to search for combofix and follow the instructions on how to clear the virus. And it works..

Other things that would happen are not being able to run Regedit, Folder Options and search function.
